A: We prefer someone who provides the highest quality, evidence-based wound care for their patients. This includes being knowledgeable about standard methodologies and evidenced-based strategies for wound etiology, injury care, infection control as well as common medical conditions. Someone who enjoys being part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team, acting as a resource for consultation and referral for providers from other disciplines.
A: Preferably a provider who can lead and execute RestorixHealth processes and provide data review, assess trends and encourage optimizations for operational performance and health outcomes in the center. Essentially, someone who can provide recommendations to improve management of individualized care plans, handle ongoing progress reports supported by an advanced, wound-specific EMR, and review relevant policies and standards assuring appropriate management relating to maintaining quality and standards of practice.
A: You must have a Medical doctorate degree with board-certification (MD, DO, DPM) or an advanced practice degree (NP, PA), and must have an active license to practice
A: There will be lots of information to support you. As a new wound care provider, your encouraged to review patients in your practice that would benefit from receiving treatment in an organized wound care environment and promote the center to colleagues and the community. You won’t feel left out around your new colleagues and are automatically enrolled to attend online EMR training and participate in our online wound care curriculum at the Wound Institute for the latest in wound care training.
