Out of the three largest risk factors for chronic, non-healing wounds \u2014 diabetes, obesity and an aging population \u2014 rural communities face disproportionately higher rates for two key risk factors: diabetes and obesity. In addition, hard-to-heal wounds are costly, presenting high rates of hospital readmissions and emergency department visits. Throughout its time as a Pipeline Partner, RestorixHealth will engage with up to 2,000 hospitals and 8,000 executives and decision-makers through a variety of channels and events.
