RestorixHealth Announces National Rural Health Association Pipeline Partnership
RestorixHealth, the nation’s leading wound care solutions company, has announced its Pipeline Partnership with the National Rural Health Association (NRHA).
As one of 19 Pipeline Partners, RestorixHealth will be offered the unique ability to collaborate with the NRHA on a variety of outreach opportunities with direct access to rural health executives, including educational resources, conferences and other digital engagements. All NRHA partners must meet stringent requirements demonstrating their reputation in the rural health space and receive approval by a review committee.
With 100+ Critical Access Hospital (CAH) partners in 21 states, RestorixHealth helps rural hospitals launch and sustain advanced wound care programs that work. Its solutions bring specialists to rural communities to keep patients local. This not only increases access to care and optimizes patient outcomes but also ensures a profitable, high quality, low risk service line for partner hospitals.
“No one knows the CAH space like RestorixHealth,” explained Nathan Shivers, Vice President, Critical Access Development. “Our experience paired with our understanding of cost-based reimbursement allows us to work with CAHs to create flexible, customized programs that fit seamlessly into existing operations.”

Although often overlooked, wound care is especially pertinent to rural healthcare.
Out of the three largest risk factors for chronic, non-healing wounds — diabetes, obesity and an aging population — rural communities face disproportionately higher rates for two key risk factors: diabetes and obesity. In addition, hard-to-heal wounds are costly, presenting high rates of hospital readmissions and emergency department visits. For a CAH, the effects, like staffing, overcrowding and limited clinical resources, are astounding.
"Our commitment to rural healthcare derives from our mission to restore health and improve the quality of life and access to care for patients with wounds. For our CAH partners, this means investing in education and resources in the local community, staffing local and fully integrating with our hospital partners and their community with ‘boots on the ground’ support from our regional teams with rural-specific training."
Ben Dunford | RestorixHealth CEO
Throughout its time as a Pipeline Partner, RestorixHealth will engage with up to 2,000 hospitals and 8,000 executives and decision-makers through a variety of channels and events. In September, RestorixHealth’s Business Development team will participate in the NRHA Critical Access Conference in Kansas City, Missouri. RestorixHealth will also host a free webinar via the NRHA Service Corporation’s rural health executive education presentation series in December.
